DIY fun Collage Using Beans & Spices-Food Art

DIY fun Collage Using Beans & Spices-Food Art

Tonight's project turned into an inspiration to bring a little talent that I enjoy the most-art. This is my first time ever

doing a collage. It's very simple and you can use whatever you have around the house.

I decided to use peas, spices and some old magazines that seem to be collecting dust. This is really a project that I wanted to share with one student who is virtual online. I wanted to encourage him to

turn in his assignments on time. We have more projects to go but I

wanted to  complete a simple collage just to show him that spices and peas can also be used for art.

It's the weekend so let's get started with a fun project.  Gather things you like for example material, ribbons no matter what you name it can

be used-There are no mistakes in making a

collage. Here is something simple

just for online students in art.

Step 1. Supplies

Gather supplies, use what you have around the house.

Beans, peas, and spices, dry ginger, cloves

Cut out pictures of food and dishes from magazine since my hobby is all about food and cookware. Use what you like.

Step 2. Brainstorm

Brainstorm goals or thing you enjoy.

Example-Cooking healthy foods-fish.

Step 3  Imagine it! Put together Food Art Collage

Place items on white paper until you see your goal or inspiration come alive for you.

Example of my goals for online art student:

Me-Eating healthy fruit in a bowl with fish, beans and pumpkin seeds and cloves become floating plants on the ocean floor.

Enjoy a happy project take a picture and share with friends and love ones! Happy Valentine's Day
